Army Turns Out 200 New MPs From Fort Leonard Wood

December 19, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

The military is gaining 200 new Military Policemen today. They’re National Guard members who have been artillery soldiers until now. The Army has retrained them at Fort Leonard Wood. Spokesman Mike Allee at the Fort says the training gives them a skill they can use, in or out of the Army and gives the Army some additional trained MPs. The new provisional MPs will be sent to forts in the states of Washington and North Carolina. They’ll replace regular army MPs who are headed overseas.
