Columbia Latest City To Opt Out Of Sales Tax Holiday

Columbia joins the list of cities opting out of the state sales tax holiday next August. It’s the latest in a lengthening list of towns and counties that will keep collecting local sales taxes the weekend of August 13th. The state sales tax will not be collected. But almost 40 cities have decided they will continue collecting their sales taxes that weekend.
