Registered Sex Offender Quits Position With Joyce Meyer Ministries

December 8, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

A registered sex offender who has been working with young people in the Joyce Meyer Ministeries has resigned after the St. Louis Post-Dispatch started asking questions about his background. And the evangelist’s organization in Fenton says it has changed its policy so that nobody with a child molestation or abuse record will be hired. The ministry hired Richard Jones five years ago when he got out of prison. A statement from the organization says there had been no complaints about his work in its ministry.
