Rams’ safety Adam Archuleta was named the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Month for November yesterday. In five games he amassed 38 tackles, three quarterback pressures, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, three sacks and a touchdown. On Sunday he recorded 11 tackles and two sacks in a 41-17 win over the Vikings. So far this season, the Rams have had a player of the month in each month. Place kicker Jeff Wilkins was named the NFC’s Special Teams Player of the Month in September and Torry Holt was honored as the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Month in October. The Rams are 8-3 with a one-game lead over the Seahawks in the NFC West. St. Louis travels to Cleveland for a Monday-night tilt with the Browns.
