Rams defensive end Leonard Little has been named the NFC’s defensive player of the week. Little led the charge on Sunday in a 41-17 win over the Vikings with eight tackles and four sacks. His biggest play came when he sacked Daunte Culpepper, who fumbled the ball. Aeneas Williams picked it up and ran 90-yards for a touchdown. Little has 11 sacks on the season, which is second best in the NFC. Little is the second Ram to win the NFC Defensive Player of the Week this season. Brian Young won it in week 10 after the Rams beat the Ravens. Place-kicker Jeff Wilkins was the Special Teams Player of the Month in September and Torry Holt was the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Month in October.
