Even after a rough outing in their season opener at Oakland, the Missouri Tigers moved up a spot in this week’s AP Poll. The Tigers are ranked No. 4 this week. They also received three first-place votes. Big 12 rival Kansas took over the top spot, jumping all the way up from sixth to first. Florida is second in the poll, followed by UConn, Mizzou and Michigan State. The Tigers open their 32nd and final season at the Hearnes Center on Tuesday. They’ll begin play in their new arena in 2004. The Tigers host Coppin State in their first home game of the season.
