Missouri and Southwest Missouri State both received at-large bids to the NCAA volleyball tournament. The Tigers finished the regular season with a record of 19-10. Their 12-8 conference mark was good enough for a sixth place finish in the Big 12. Missouri plays the first two rounds in Los Angeles. The Tigers open against UC-Irvine on Friday. If they win, they’ll meet either San Diego or No. 8 seed UCLA on Saturday. SMS went 27-5 in the regular season and advanced to the finals of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament before losing to Northern Iowa. The Lady Bears travel to Manhattan, Kansas, where they’ll meet Arkansas in the first round. A win and SMS would face either Ohio or Kansas State in the second round.
