Shopping malls and stores in Missouri are filling up today in the traditional start of the holiday shopping season. David Overfelt with the Missouri Retailers Association says this Christmas season, electronic games should be popular. Overfelt says what is standing out this year is sales projections. He expects sales, fueled by a stronger economy, could be up nearly six percent from a year ago. That would make this Christmas the brightest for retailers since 1999.
