The Kansas City Royals are off to a good start this holiday season. The Royals resigned three free agents yesterday, bringing back third baseman Joe Randa, starter Brian Anderson and and reliever Curtis Leskanic back to Kansas City next year. Anderson signed a two-year deal. Randa received a one-year contract with a mutual option for 2005. Leskanic signed a one-year contract with a club option for ’05. Randa hit .291 last year and led all MLB third baseman in fielding percentage, Anderson and Leskanic were both mid-season pickups. Anderson went 5-1 with KC with an ERA of 3.99. Leskanic made 27 relief appearances for the Royals, posting an ERA of 1.73.
