It looks like Lima time might be coming to an end in Kansas City. Righthander Jose Lima is upset after the Royals offered him a one-year, $500,000 contract. Lima told the Kansas City Star he wants to stay in K.C., but he wants a two-year, $4 million contract. He did say he would accept a one-year, $1 million deal with incentives to stay with the Royals. Lima got off to a hot start this year, winning his first seven decisions. He then suffered through groin injuries the final two months of the season and finished the season 8-3 with a 4.91 ERA.
