Drug Tampering Pharmacist’s Insurance Company Agrees To Pay Victims

November 26, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Robert Courtney’s insurance company has agreed to pay his victims $35-Million. Courtney is the former Kansas City druggist who watered down cancer-fighting medications. Courtney’s victims had sued Pharmacists Mutual Insurance Company, which had argued its coverage did not include criminal conduct. The company says it still holds that position, although it’s agreeing to the settlement instead of facing the uncertainty of a long legal fight. Courtney is in prison.
