Matthews To Go To Royals Hall

November 21, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Broadcaster Denny Matthews has seen just about every Royals baseball game since the team was introduced in 1969. That longevity and talent has earned him a spot in the Royals Hall of Fame. The team made that announcement yesterday. It will be a bit of a change at the induction ceremony, which Matthews normally hosts. Denny Matthews will become the fourth non-uniformed member of the Royals Hall of Fame. He’ll join Ewing and Muriel Kauffman and former general manager Joe Burke.
