MADD Missouri Kicks Off Big Campaign

November 18, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

The holidays are getting near and Mothers Against Drunk Driving is kicking off its annual “Tie One On For Safety” campaign which is set up to combat drinking and driving during the holidays. Angela Hirsch, Executive Director of MADD Missouri, says there are several reasons the MADD campaign is being launched a week-and-a-half before Thanksgiving, including rising numbers of drinking and driving crashes. Supporters of the MADD campaign are asked to wear a red ribbon as a symbol of the driver’s commitment to safe and sober driving during the holiday season and it reminds other motorists to do the same.
