It wasn’t easy, but the Rams were able to out-muscle the Bears for a 23-21 win at Soldier Field. St. Louis erased a 14-3 deficit when they scored on a 13-play, 59-yard drive in the fourth quarter to go up 17-14. Jeff Wilkins made it 20-14 mid-way through the fourth with a 44-yard field goal. But the Bears bounced back by going 62 yards in three plays to take a 21-20 lead with 5:58 to go. The Rams proceeded to grind out a 13-play drive that culminated in a 31-yard field goal from Jeff Wilkins with 38-seconds to go to win it. Marshall Faulk had 103 yards rushing. 52 of those yards came on a fourth-and-one play that lead to the Rams go-ahead touchdown. Marc Bulger had 240 yards passing, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He hit Torry Holt nine times for 124 yards and a touchdown. The Rams and Seahawks are still tied for first in teh NFC West.
