Three gambling companies have expressed interest in moving into the St. Louis area with huge casino and hotel projects. Isle of Capri Casinos is proposing a $167-Million facility near the Jefferson Barracks Bridge and a $151-Million development at Laclede’s Landing downtown. Pinnacle Entertainment has proposed a $300-Million casino and entertainment complex in Lemay and a $200-Million casino-hotel-condominium tower complex at Laclede’s Landing. Harrah’s Entertainment wants to open a 275-Million dollar casino near the Jefferson Barracks Bridge. St. Louis is appointing a committee to review the proposals and will be asked to choose one by January 15th for submission to the Missouri Gaming Commission.
