A granddaughter of the late British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill is spending part of the weekend at Westminster College in Fulton, talking about her famous grandfather and the bonds between the British and American peoples. Author Celia Sandys, who has written five books on Churchill, says her grandfather believed it was important to forge those bonds in cement. It was at Westminster College on March 5th, 1946, that Churchill delivered his famous Iron Curtain speech in which he warned of the dangers of communism and its impact on the European continent.
