Take away less than a minute and the Blues have a shut out. Instead they came away wit ha 4-3 overtime win against the Sharks in San Jose. The Blues led 3-0 thanks to goals from Murray Baron first-period goal, and third-period goals from Dallas Drake and Mike Danton. It remained 3-0, Pavol Demitra and Jamal Mayers were called for penalties, giving San Jose a two-man advantage. Marco Sturm scored at the 9:30 mark, and then scored again 20 seconds later with a man-advantage. But the Sharks weren’t done. At full strength, just 25 seconds later, Mike Ricci tied it at three, ending a three-goal explosion in 45 seconds. In overtime, Petr Cajanek saved the win for goaltender Chris Osgood, with a goal just 15 seconds before the end of the extra period. The Blues play tomorrow afternoon against the Kings in the second of four west coast games
