Chillicothe Ends Platte Co. Amazing Streak

November 13, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

The Missouri high school footbhall playoffs got underway last night and an amazing streak is over. In Class 3, Chillicothe stunned the crowd with a 28-14 road win over Platte County. The Pirates had won each of their previous 52 games, which included three straight state championships. Chillicothe’s only losses since the streak started were to Platte County. Chillicothe moves on to face Richmond. The team with the worst record in Class 3 is gone. Fulton, which won only their three district games was bumped in a 34-6 loss to Owensville. In Class four St. Mary’s which got into the post season as a result of Clayton being stripped of nine wins for using an ineligible player, fell to Vashon 27-7.
