Gun Used To Shoot Jesse James Sold At Auction

November 12, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

A gun reputedly used to kill Jesse James has been sold by an antique gun dealer in the state of California for $350,000. The dealer says it’s Bob Ford’s Smith and Wesson 44. The winning bidder in the auction wants to remain anonymous. Ford killed James at his home in St. Joseph in April of 1882. Ford was killed ten years later in a barroom shooting in Creede, Colorado.
