Democratic presidential candidate Wesley Clark has told a Springfield audience that President George W. Bush has pushed policies that are “reckless” and “radical,” in “making a mess of this country.” It’s Clark’s first stop in Missouri. He says the economic turnaround that Republicans are taking credit for is still not strong enough to absorb new entrants into the work force. He says he’d start an aggressive jobs program as President. He says he’d also repeal parts of the Patriot Act, and start repairing this country’s image among its allies.
