It’s not unusual for coaches and the media to disagree. So it should come as no shock that they didn’t see eye-to-eye in their pre-season picks for the Big 12 basketball season. Two weeks ago the Missouri Tigers were picked first in the coaches’ poll, this week they’re second, behind Kansas, according to those who write and talk about the league. Mizzou is well represented in individual honors. Seniors Rickey Paulding and Arthur Johnson were both named to the pre-season all-conference team and Jason Conley was named the pre-season newcomer of the year.
