The Missouri Public Service Commission has a new Chairman. Commissioner Steve Gaw has moved into the top spot, replacing Kelvin Simmons who has chosen to step down as Chairman but will remain on the Commission. Gaw plans to follow the path started by his predecessor by makingMissourians more aware of the PSC and the services provided by the agency. The Public Service Commission impacts just about everyone in the state because of its involvment with utilities and the regulation of those utilities. Gaw previously served as a State Representative, becomingSpeaker of the Missouri House until 2001.
