Browns Suspend Green For Chiefs Game

November 4, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

The Chiefs won’t have to worry about the Browns leading rusher on Sunday. The team has suspended William Green because of his arrest last week for drunk driving and marijuana possession. He has 559 yards on the ground and a touchdown. He also has 10 receptions for 50 yards. When the Chiefs host the Browns on Sunday, they’ll be doing it with a new second-string running back. Dick Vermeil promoted first-round pick Larry Johnson yesterday, moving him ahead of Derrick Blaylock.
