Missouri Girl Stars In New Reality Show That Debuts Tonight

November 3, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

A Missouri gal stars in the latest try at a reality show twist. Former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader Melanda Scantlin, Miss Missouri USA 2002, stars in the new series “Average Joe.” The premise of the show follows the lines of “The Bachelorette” and “Joe Millionaire,” only in this reality show, the beauty chooses among 16 average guys at least average physically. All of the contestants for Scantlin’s affection are smart, funny and accomplished. Some are overweight, some are balding, some are short – all are supposed to be just average guys. Scantlin will pick one of them at the end of the six-week series which begins tonight on NBC.
