The Missouri Tiger women’s basketball team is expected to be in the middle of the pack this season. At least that’s the opinion of the Big 12 pre-season poll, which predicts Mizzou will finish in sixth place. The Tigers will have some big shoes to fill, now that Karensa Barr has graduated. Barr set Missouri’s all-time record for assists in a career and her 11 points per game was second on the team last season. The good news is that seniors Evan Unrau and Stretch James are both back. Unrau lead the team with 16 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. James averaged 10 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. The Tigers were 17-14 last season, making a run to the quarterfinals of the WNIT.
