Brad Smith Wins Big 12 Offensive Player Of The Week

October 28, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

No surprise here. Missouri sophomore quarterback Brad Smith has been named the Big 12’s Offensive Player Of The Week. Smith ran for 291 yards, a Big 12 record, and 5 TD’s, a school-record, in Mizzou’s 62-31 win over Texas Tech. Smith’s rushing output was also a Big 12 record. Smith recorded 419 yards of total offense, the second best total in school history. Smith won the honor for the second time in three weeks. He was also Big 12 Offensive Player Of The Week in Missouri’s win over Nebraska. The win pushed Mizzou’s record to 6-2, making the Tigers bowl eligible for the first time since 1998.
