The Rams moved into a first place tie with the Seahawks in the NFC West by topping Pittsburgh 33-21 on the road. Marc Bulger passed for 373 yards and a touchdown to Torry Holt. Holt finished with seven receptions and 174 yards receiver. Arlen Harris had 34 carries and finished with 81 yards and three touchdowns. The Steelers only lead of the game came in the third quarter when Tommy Maddox hit Hines Ward for a 22-yard touchdown and Pittsburgh took a 21-20 lead. But the Rams responded with a touchdown of their own before the third quarter came to a close. Arlen Harris capped the drive with an eight-yard run. Harris took one in from nine yards in the fourth quarter to seal the deal for the Rams. Aeneas Williams and De Juan Groce both had interceptions, while Grant Wistrom and Leonard Little recorded sacks. The victory moved the Rams to 5-2 on the season and they now share first place with Seattle in the NFC West.
