Royals Raise Ticket Prices

October 24, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Watching the Kansas City Royals in person will cost a bit more next year. The Royals are raising ticket prices across the board for the 2004 season. Increases range from $2 – $4. The cost of parking is also going up two bucks. The cost of an average ticket will go up from $12.13 to $13.42. Charlie Seraphin, the club’s vice president for sales and marketing, says seeing the Royals will still be a bargain. He expects the team to rank 28th in the majors in ticket prices. The Royals went 83-79 this year after losing 100 games in 2002.
