October 24, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

The two inmates suspected in the killing of a third inmate at the state penitentiary in Jefferson City are still missing. Guards continue searching inside the penitentiary, which has dozens of buildings on its 47 acres. Toby Viles was murdered and the two inmates with whom he was working have not been seen since. Viles had been convicted of killing his two sisters and one brother in rural Lebanon. He was 16 at the time. Viles was tried in Johnson County.
