The Missouri Girls High School Golf Championships wrapped up yesterday. In Springfield, Blue Springs South was the winner in Class 2, finishing one strike better than St. Joseph’s academy. Freshman Kelsey Meyers of Nernix Hall High School in Webster Groves bounced back from a 79 in round one, to win the individual honors. She finished with a 70 on Tuesday. In Class One, Pembroke Hill out-did Visitation Academy by nine strokes to take the crown. Sophomore Abby Spieler of California and senior Tonya Choate of Mount Vernon tied for first.
