Blues Trip Ends With Loss

October 17, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

The St. Louis Blues are finally coming home after starting the season with a three-game road trip. That stretch ended on Thursday with a 4-1 loss to the Nashville Predators, the Blues first regulation loss of the season. Petr Cajanek netted his first goal of the season, a power play goal in the second period. It was the only one of the Blues 31 shots to beat Preadtors goalie Tomas Vokoun. The Predators dominated the special teams play. Nasvhille was 2-of-5 on the power play, and also added a shorthanded goal. The Blues play their home opener Saturday night. They host the Washington Capitals in St. Louis.
