For the fifth straight week, a Kansas City Chief has won a player of the week award—only this time it’s not Dante Hall. Trent Green was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week yesterday for his performance against the Packers. On Sunday, Green was 27-45 with 400 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. He also tossed the game winning touchdown pass in overtime, hitting Eddie Kennison. That moved the Chiefs to 6-0 for the first time in franchise history. It’s only the third time that a team in either the AFC or NFC has had a player win a player of the week award five straight times.
