Schutte Lumber Company owner Dan Fuhrman vows to rebuild after fire destroyed several buildings, sheds and two tractor trailers at the lumberyard located in the northern part of Kansas City. Fuhrman estimates the fire burned up 80-percent of the business, causing an estimated $4-Million in damage. The fire is believed to have been set. Investigators are looking for links to two other lumberyard fires nearby. On October 6th, Porter Building Supply in Kearney went up in flames. The next day, another Porter distribution center in Mosby burned. The same family owns both. Fire investigators have ruled those two fires were set. They so farm have not discovered any evidence to connect all three fires.
