It was an historic Sunday night for St. Louis Blues winger Keith Tkachuk. Tkachuk scored both Blues goals in a 2-1 win over Colorado. Tkachuk’s first goal of the night, a power play goal at 16:13 of the first period, was the 400th of his career, making him the 74th player in NHL history with 400 goals. While Tkachuk made history, Chris Osgood won the game for St. Louis. The Blues netminder turned aside 39 of Colorado’s 40 shots, including all 19 Avalanche shots in the second period, giving St. Louis its first win of the year. The Blues have now scored three goals in two games this season. Tkachuk has scored all of them.
