The last time it happened, Melinda Wrye-Washington was a player on the Columbia College volleyball team. On October 8, 1994, Columbia College lost a home match Dordt (Iowa) College. After that CC went on a 126-game home winning streak that finally ended on Saturday against College of St. Mary (Nebraska). Wrye-Washington is now in her third season as the Cougars’ head coach. The winning streak is an NAIA record. The Cougars are ranked 7th in NAIA and St. Mary is fourth and undefeated.
