The first man prosecuted under Missouri’s cockfighting law apparently has some explaining to do to authorities in McDonald County. Dana Lee Waddle of Goodman pleaded guilty to state charges last week. Part of his plea agreement was that the fighting roosters and other chickens at his farm would be forfeited to the sheriff’s department and killed. But when officers went to Waddle’s farm this week, they could not find him or most of the roosters and chickens that had been impounded at his farm.
