7th Ranked Billikens Tie Marquette

October 2, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Saint Louis and Marquette soccer teams played to a scoreless at Hermann Stadium on Wednesday night. Billiken goalkeeper Martin Hutton was able to stop all six shots that came his way, while Adam Ubert responded with five stops for the Golden Eagles. Saint Louis was ranked as high as 3rd in the national polls this year, but has hit some hard times at home. Now ranked 7th, SLU is winless in their last three matches at Hermann Stadium, going 0-1-2. Until Wednesday, they had never gone three games without a win at their home stadium. Last night’s draw puts the Billikens at 6-1-2 on the season.
