Former College of the Ozarks basketball coach, Al Waller has been named a member of the 2003-2004 class of the NAIA Hall of Fame. Waller spent 25 seasons coaching the Bobcats and amassed 458 wins, 12 conference titles and twelve seasons with 20 wins or more. He also led C of O also made it to six NAIA Division II tournaments, advancing to three Elite 8’s and the 2000 championship game. Al Waller was also the co-chair of the tournament since its inception. Before taking the job at College of the Ozarks, Waller was the head basketball coach at Bishop Hogan High School and Branson High School. Earlier this year he was inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
