Hopes Dimming To Have Ozark Manufacturing Plant Re-Open

September 22, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Hopes in Ozark that somebody was going to buy a vacant manufacturing plant and put people back to work have been dashed. A realtor who thought a deal had been struck says the company has backed out of buying the now-vacant Fasco motors plant. The company, which has not been named, started considering the purchase last month. No reason has been given for cancellation of the deal. Fasco closed the plant earlier this year, putting 800 people out of work.
