Kansas City police are trying a new approach in their efforts to identify Precious Doe – the little girl whose decapitated body was found in a Kansas City park in April of 2001. They’ve unveiled a soft-clay bust built over the youngster’s skull. It was created by experts in facial reconstruction and bone analysis at Louisiana State University. In the 2-and-a-half years since the body was found police have received nearly one-thousand tips. They’ve also compared DNA from several missing girls from around the country – all to no avail. Experts at LSU have concluded the child was most likely 3-years-old and no more than 4-years-old.
