President To Spend A Lot Of Time In Missouri Over Next Year

September 18, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Missouri will see a lot of President George W. Bush as the real campaign season draws closer. Bush/Cheney ’04 Campaign Manager Ken Mehlmann says Missouri reflects much of the diversity of the nation and provides a good test for campaign themes and ideas. Mehlmann says Missouri will be a key state in the president’s re-election plans. Bush recently promoted his economic policy during a speech in Kansas City. He defended his foreign policy during the American Legion convention in St. Louis. Missouri ranked 17th among the states in giving to Bush’s presidential campaign in 2000, providing more than $1.5-Million to the Bush/Cheney campaign.
