The Missouri Tigers basketball schedule was released Wednesday and they’ll have one of the most challenging slate of games in the nation in 2003-2004. Mizzou will host three of the 2002 Final Four squads. Defending national champion Syracuse will come to Columbia on January 12th, while Texas and KU will visit as a part of the Tigers’ Big 12 schedule. Kansas will visit on March 7 to wrap up the regular season. It will also be the last men’s basketball game played at the Hearnes Center. In 2004, the Tigers will move into a new arena, just a few hundred feet from Hearnes. Other home games include Iowa on January 3 and UNLV, with former SMS and SLU coach Charlie Spoonhour, will travel to Missouri on February 15. Missouri’s road highlights include a December 6 trip to Indiana and a contest with Gonzaga in Seattle on December 13. The annual “Braggin’ Rights” game with Illinois is on December 23 in St. Louis.
