Lambert Airport Workforce Cut Again

September 11, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

More than 100 people who work at Lambert-St.Louis Airport are losing their jobs because of American Airlines’ service cuts there. Three months ago, Lambert laid off 90 other people because of a tight city budget. The latest cuts will leave the airport workforce 25 percent less than it was at the start of the year. The layoffs and more than $8-Million in airport budget cuts will go into effect November 1st, the same day half of American’s flights at St. Louis disappear.
