J.D. Drew’s return to the Cardinal lineup resulted in a grand slam in the sixth inning and 6-0 lead for St. Louis in the sixth inning.. It was all down hill for St. Louis after that. The Cubs rallied for three runs in the sixth, three more in the seventh and two in eighth to beat the Cardinals 8-7. Woody Williams was called out of the bullpen and gave up the last two runs. The Cardinals are a half game out of first in the National League Central.
