Four members of a Liberty family are dead and a fifth is missing following a flash flood, Saturday night, near Emporia, Kansas. Witnesses say a 7-foot-high wall of water from Jacob Creek moved across Interstate-35, sweeping seven vehicles off the road. Four children were killed and their mother is still missing after their mini-van filled with water. The father survived and was treated at an Emporia hospital. No names have been released. The National Weather Service reported the Emporia area had received 8 to 12 inches of rain in 24 hours beginning early Saturday.
