Missouri Attorney General Jay Nixon has filed lawsuits to suspend the professional licenses of 19 parents who won’t pay their child support. The group includes two doctors, a certified public accountant, and even a professional wrestler. Last month, Nixon went after employers who were not withholding child support from delinquent employees. A recent audit showed about $1.3-Billion out of $2-Billion owed in Missouri over several years went uncollected. The licenses Nixon is going after belong to professionals regulated by state boards and commissions.
