Senator Jim Talent spent Thursday in southwest Missouri, visiting four communities to talk about job creation. Talent made stops in Branson, Monett, Kimberling City, and Ozark to meet with business and civic leaders to discuss legislation aimed at creating jobs and stimulating the economy. Talent points out Missouri lost more than 77,000 jobs last year – more lost jobs than Missouri’s eight surrounding states combined.
