Farmer Announces Run For U.S. Senate

July 25, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Democrat State Treasurer Nancy Farmer says she will take on Senator Christopher Bond next year for his U.S. Senate seat. Bond, a Republican, will try for his fourth term and already has $2-Million in his war chest. Farmer, who was elected State Treasurer in 2000, will have to start from nothing since election laws prevent her from transfering money already raised for her campaign for Treasurer.
