Royals Crushed By A’s

July 23, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

The Royals lead in the American League Central dropped to five games over the Twins. Kansas City was pummeled 10-0 by the A’s Tuesday afternoon. Kris Wilson got the start as Jose Lima recovers from a groin injury. Wilson, who was 5-0 out of the bullpen this season, gave up four of Oakland’s five home runs. Euribiel Durazo hit two homers, while Tim Hudson dominated from the mound. He gave up just one of Kansas City’s three hits on the day to improve to 8-4 on the season. The Royals dropped both games of the two-game set and get ready for another double-dip with the Twins.
