William Jewell College in Liberty is being threatened with the loss of $1-Million a year from the Missouri Baptist Convention. A Convention committee says the school has to take a stand against homosexuality if it wants to keep getting the money. $1-Million is about three-percent of the budget at William Jewell. School officials say they’re prepared for the loss. William Jewell has been a Baptist-affiliated shcool since its founding 150 years ago.
